Everything You Need to Know About Photo Editing – Free Mini Course

So many of you are somewhere on the path to professional photography.

Maybe you are honing your talents so that you can change careers far down the line.b after haze

Or maybe you are ready to start shooting for others in addition to your day job. As a source of extra income or a more flexible career, photography can’t be beat.

To bad it’s not as simple as picking up that camera and finding a couple of clients, right?

I can help you with one very important piece of the puzzle. Lightroom & Elements are an indispensable team for those who use them right. I edit my professional shoots with both, and do so with the conscious goal of making each edit as efficient, quick and beautiful as possible.

Erin is a gifted teacher. Her lessons are well thought out and she explains her steps carefully to her students. Her CC is detailed and thorough. It is evident in the quality of her feedback that she spends time on each student’s assignment or question and provides thoughtful constructive comments. She follows up with students to clarify understanding, showing that she really cares that each individual understands the lesson.

Lightroom & Elements don’t just help with the photo editing. Together, you can use them to create a brand identity for your young company. Add your creativity to the techniques that I’ll show you, and you can develop logos, web graphics, business cards and a simple slideshow to show client’s their images with.

I believe that you can be a successful professional photographer using Lightroom & Elements – full Photoshop isn’t necessary. I’ve wanted to help people use this money-saving team for a long time now, and I’ve worked for many months on developing a course that would hand this knowledge to you in a neat, organized package.

But I don’t just hand you the package and walk away. You have me for 6 weeks to answer any question about course material that you can come up with. I give you homework designed to make sure you learn what you need to learn, and I provide detailed feedback on that homework, including a critique of your edits and suggestions for improvements.

I got my Lightroom catalog set up, 35,000 pictures “synchronized” into my personally-crazy filing system AND the catalog backed up! I managed to do all of it in a few short hours using your course – and I could not get it figured out with THREE MONTHS of reading the Scott Kelby book!!! Thank you so much…my biggest concern with switching to Lightroom was being able to maintain my monthly filing system — and now I can!!! Thank you!

I’ve taught Elements and Lightroom for 6 years now, and I know the best ways to present this info to students. I write tutorials on both Elements and Lightroom for the industry-standard Elements magazine. I know the questions you’re going to ask, and I know how to explain with answers that are easy to understand.

I want this class to push you one step closer to your dreams, and I am so excited that it’s about to begin. Register or read more about the class here.

If you’d like to work through a sample of what your six weeks learning with me will be like, enter your email address here. You’ll receive a package full of goodies:

  • Three of the 6 lessons from the first week of class, including PDFs and videos
  • The second lesson from week 4 in the workshop
  • Cheat sheets that you will receive throughout the class
  • 50 PDF pages and over an hour of video

What is the best editing tool for simple procedures. I do not manipulate pictures in anyway, except simple dark room stuff. I still shoot a lot of 6×45 film for my landscape. medium format still does a great job of capturing color. Dark room means things you used to do with film. I have Elements 9 on my old computer but have never used it. Panoramas and hdr does interest me a little. I’am interested in looking into larger prints, would a cheaper 24 pixel camera help here. EG Nikon 5300 or 3300. Thanks Old Ron Here.

Hi Ron. The more megapixels, the larger the print. That much I can answer for you!
